When I tried to lose weight, my first option was to go for one of the latest fad diets. I ate foods that I didn't like a great deal and never found them to be appetizing. Sometimes, when I was desperate enough, I was able to stick to the diet for several weeks. But I couldn't eat this kind of food for too long, as I felt deprived. I would seriously try to finish the diet and achieve my recommended weight, but these fad diets are too hard to follow.

Usually I would drop between 5 to 10 pound; however, the weight would roll back on as soon as I began eating normally once more. Deep down I realized fad diets were only a quick-fix for a weight loss plan, and I knew I would have been better off by consuming healthier foods, which didn't, make me so over weight.
